Under counter basins (also referred to as under mount basins) are installed in such a way as to create a continuous flow from countertop to basin with no edges or rims. They are only suitable for solid surface countertops, such as Caesarstone.
A hole is cut into the top of the vanity slightly smaller than the internal bowl dimensions and the basin is then secured to the underside of the vanity, typically with silicon and brackets. Tapware can be mounted on the vanity or on the wall.
