Argent designer vanities are super strong and super stylish

There’s nothing worse than having gone through the effort of installing a vanity in a bathroom, only to find that it’s not strong enough or that it has been damaged somehow in transit.

At Argent, we understand the importance of quality, durability as well as style. So we always strive to source products which are designed to look great and stand the test of time.

One of our newest product lines which we are excited to introduce is Argent’s ultra-strong range of bathroom furniture.

What makes Argent furniture so special?

Simply put, Argent vanities are made the good old fashioned way with a long usage life in mind. No shortcuts. No sacrifices in the name of reducing costs.

Each vanity features:

  • Solid vanity backs: Every vanity uses a full 16mm solid back, never a 3mm paper lined MDF back. This ensures the greatest stability and makes mounting and installing a breeze.
  • Tongue and groove joints: All the solid backs and bases are assembled with either tongue and groove joints or with multiple cam fix points. This creates exceptional strength and durability particularly for wall mounted cabinets. The tongue and groove joint prevents the side from pulling away from the back when pressure is placed on the vanity top.
  • Soft close hinges: Only the highest quality, fully adjustable European hinges are used. This allows them to be easily adjusted and offer a long life span. All hinges include built-in soft close mechanisms.
  • Steel construction brackets: Specially designed internal brackets make a neat and strong finish which is much, much stronger than plastic fixing blocks.
  • Moisture resistant board: All cabinets are manufactured with Moisture Resistant (MR) board. This gives you the best protection against swelling and other moisture damage. The board is eco-friendly and is sourced from responsible, certified suppliers and is either “E0” or “E1” low formaldehyde eco-friendly product.

The ultimate test of strength

To prove the strength of their vanities, Argent’s manufacturer installed a vanity using the bare number of fixings to meet the installation instructions. Then the vanity was loaded with 37 bags of cement, weighing a total of 740kg.

As each vanity features a solid rear panel which is tongue and grooved into the cabinet, the vanity easily supported the 740kg of weight.

It doesn’t get any stronger than that!

Packaging that gets you

It’s unfortunate, but many high quality bathroom product manufacturers often ‘skimp’ on the packaging in which they transport their goods. Vanities can sometimes be damaged when they are packed into flimsy cardboard boxes and transported long distances.

To prevent this, Argent package their vanities in individual 10mm ‘super crates’. These crates prevent the risk of damage during transit. In fact, they are so durable, they are strong enough to hold up a commercial van! This means you can be completely confident that your bathroom project won’t be held up due to a chipped or broken product.

Stunning selection of styles

In addition to being super strong, Argent vanities are also super stylish.

You can choose any cabinet and mix and match from a huge range of colours, handles and textured or routered fronts to create just the look you are after. The Argent furniture range is designed specifically to pair with an extensive selection of gorgeous Villeroy & Boch, Bette and Argent basins.
